East Bay Getting to Zero

In collaboration with Cal-Pep, Club A.B.L.U.N.T. (Asians Blacks Latinx Uniting with Native Tribes), Nectar Social Club, What’s T.E.A. and AIDS Healthcare Foundation, EBGTZ’s POZ+ committee presented TAKING ROOT: A Fundraiser for the East Bay AIDS Memorial Garden on March 29th, 2024. We presented EBGTZ’s plans to the audience and called to action how our East Bay community can continue to spread awareness about the memorial garden.

A panel discussion, curated by Club A.B.L.U.N.T., centered the experiences of Women and HIV to honor National Women & Girl’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

Hosted at Nectar Social Club, the event packed an evening of meaningful conversation, impactful art, healing through dance, and fabulous entertainment. HIV testing, linkage to care and other HIV/HIV prevention services was available.
