East Bay Getting to Zero

On September 21, 2023 East Bay Getting to Zero hosted our very first AIDS Memorial Garden Town Hall. We invited our community to listen to our team share about this year’s progress to build the first AIDS Memorial Garden in the East Bay.

We hosted a panel between Jesse Brooks and Le’Shrea Ebony, two of EBGTZ’s community leaders from the AIDS Memorial Garden team. With the support of the rest of the POZ+ committee and the EBGTZ core team, we shared our current priorities:

  1. Fundraising
    1. To view our sponsorship tiers, please see our Sponsorship Packet (Version 1)

  2. HIV Timeline Project

      • “What are historical impactful events, people, leaders, clinicians, organizations, in the East Bay who have helped make progress towards engine the HIV epidemic AND why were they impactful?”

If you were unable to attend our town hall, please see below for a recording of the panel discussion and next steps. We will be hosting more community events and you can stay up to date by subscribing to our newsletter. Please email zj@ebgtz.org.
