CHIPTS, APLA Health, San Francisco AIDS Foundation, and PAETC are excited to announce Session #4 in our California Statewide HIV and Aging Educational Initiative. The topic will be on Addressing the Mental Health Needs of Older Adults with HIV and will take place Wednesday, November 16th from 12 – 2pm (Pacific Time) via Zoom. Experts from around the state will discuss key mental health concerns among older adults with HIV in California and effective strategies and resources to help to address them.

 

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

1.       Describe at least two mental health concerns commonly experienced by older adults with HIV in California.

2.       Explain at least one effective strategy to help address mental health concerns among older adults with HIV in California.

3.       Identify at least one resource available to help support older adults with HIV in California to access mental health services.
