East Bay Getting to Zero

Sami Lubega, MD is a practicing Family Physician and certified HIV Specialist. She attended UCSF School of Medicine and completed her residency at the UCSF Family & Community Medicine Program at San Francisco General Hospital, where she participated in the HIV Primary Care training track. Dr. Lubega currently serves as Deputy Medical Director for the Bay Area/North & Central Coast AIDS Education and Training Center and Interim Director for East Bay Getting to Zero, supporting clinics in building their capacity to provide HIV prevention services across the East Bay, and is a primary care provider at LifeLong Medical Care East Oakland, where she continues to care for people living with and affected by HIV. She is passionate about achieving health equity while maintaining the diversity of culture and spirit that makes Oakland beautiful.
