On August 1, 2024, HIV care service providers from around Alameda and Contra Costa counties gathered at Alameda County’s Redwood room in downtown San Leandro for East Bay Getting to Zero’s June Regional Case Managers meeting. These meetings are a place for those working directly with clients to come together, network, get access to important updates and problem-solve the challenges they face in their work. The objectives of this meeting were to:
- Objectives for the August meeting:
- Identify resources and referrals for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault
- Learn when and how to refer clients to Project Independence.
- Learn how to read and understand key HIV-related lab results for the purposes of case management
