You are invited to join us on Thursday, October 13, 11-1 pm to walk through the new East Bay Housing Guide and share stories and strategies around supporting people to get housed. This workshop will be held on Zoom. During the meeting we will discuss in-person meeting options for future events. We appreciate your patience and grateful for your efforts keeping folks safe!

Learning objectives:

  1. Get to know people working in housing and HIV services in the East Bay.
  2. Describe the purpose and structure of the new East Bay Simple Guides to Finding Housing in Alameda County or Contra Costa County.
  3. Explain how the housing guide can be used as a resource for housing and HIV advocates in the East Bay.
  4. Demonstrate at least one way to facilitate getting a client housed using a therapeutically appropriate and compassionate approach.

11:35 am – Housing stories, experiences and strategies with Ramon Jackson, Jason Lugo, Cassandra Ekdawy, Angela Moore and Judy Eliachar

12:15 pm – Q&A and discussion

12:25 pm – Wrap up, next steps and next events

12:30-1 pm – Optional further discussion and Q&A for folks who want to stay and talk longer
