The testing working group is currently a subgroup of the steering committee and focuses on integrating universal HIV testing into community health clinics, federally-qualified health centers, urgent care and drop-in health centers, emergency departments, hospitals and jails. HIV testing and lab results reporting policies and protocols will be revised and updated to support these efforts. The testing working group will also support social network HIV testing.

EBGTZ aims to reduce the number of new annual HIV diagnosis by ≥25% and reduce the percentage of late testers among all new annual HIV diagnoses by ≥50% by 2023.
