On June 26, 2021 from 11am-3pm, LifeLong Medical Care and Oakland LGBTQ Center will be co-sponsoring a Community Health and Wellness event in front of the pergola at Lake Merritt in honor of National HIV Testing Day.
We will also be joined by LGBTQ+ ally, Oakland A’s Leftfielder and Second Baseman, Tony Kemp. Tony will also be signing and giving away A’s gear between 11am-12:30pm!
The Glenn Burke Wellness/LifeLong Medical Care clinic team, will be offering free HIV and HCV testing, Covid-19 vaccinations, etc., and Center staff will be sharing information about our other supportive services.
Several of our partners will be joining us to provide the community with a number of services and activities, including HEPPAC, EBGTZ, Dream Youth Clinic and Roots Community Health Center.
