In 2021, a group of people from the California Department of Public Health and community partners worked with Facente Consulting to create the statewide strategic plan to address HIV, HCV, and STIs, as a guidance document for California’s work to address HIV, HCV, and STIs in California over the next 5 years.

This strategic plan features 30 key strategic priorities, spread across 6 social determinants of health (racial equity, housing first, health access for all, mental health and substance use, economic justice, and a desire to be stigma free).

In order to create an actionable blueprint to bring these strategies to life in Alameda County – a town hall is being held on Wednesday, June 29 from 9am – noon  at OakStop, located at 1721 Broadway in Oakland.

Masks are recommended for this meeting and will be provided at the door.
